Little Pebble Beach (Küçük Çakıl Plajı)

Located in the heart of Kas, Little Pebble Beach is a small, 5-meter cove with a pebbly and shingly shore. Just a 10-minute walk east of the harbor along the harbor road, this charming beach is flanked by two beach clubs, Cinarlar and Derya, offering excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Loungers are complimentary when you purchase drinks or snacks from the nearby clubs.

Big Pebble Beach (Büyük Çakıl Plajı)

A pleasant 1-kilometer walk along the marina and waterfront leads to Big Pebble Beach, just outside of town. If you continue past Little Pebble Beach along the coastal road, it's about a 15-20 minute walk. This spacious bay, approximately 200 meters wide, boasts crystal-clear waters, ideal for snorkeling. You'll find sunbeds, umbrellas, parking, and a selection of cafes. The shallow and typically calm waters make it a popular choice for families, both locals and visitors. Refreshing cold water springs nearby enhance the swimming experience.

Incebogaz Beach

Situated about 1.5 kilometers away on the peninsula road, Incebogaz Beach offers two small, peaceful beaches on either side of the road. A nearby cafe provides food and drinks, and the beach on the cafe side is perfect for safe swimming in its sheltered waters. It's also a great spot for picnics.

Limanagzi Beach

Located 3 kilometers east of Kas in a sheltered bay, Limanagzi Beach is accessible by boat or by foot (the path from Kas to Limanagzi is part of the Lycian Way). This beach features two small coves, each with excellent waterfront restaurants, sunbeds, umbrellas, and safe swimming.

Akcagerme Beach/Club

5 kilometers west of Kas on the Kalkan road, Akcagerme Beach Club offers a restaurant, bar, and shingle beach. Just outside Kas Marina, this beach provides sunbeds, umbrellas (for a small fee), a swimming pontoon with protected areas for safe swimming, and a children's water park with slides.

Kaputas Beach

Renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey, Kaputas Beach is located approximately 18 kilometers west of Kas. Its stunning turquoise waters are framed by a gorge that opens out onto a stretch of sand. A long flight of steps leads down to the beach, and facilities are limited, so it's advisable to bring your own water and parasol. The local council plans to improve facilities in the future, including toilets, changing rooms, and a small cafe. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent. Popular with both locals and visitors, Kaputas Beach is often frequented by gulets and yachts due to its turquoise waters and excellent swimming conditions. However, be cautious of strong waves during windy weather.

Patara Beach

​

Located 42 kilometers from Kas, Patara Beach is a 45-minute drive away and well worth a day trip. As part of a national park, this beach is a key biodiversity area, home to various bird species and the endangered loggerhead turtle. To protect these nesting sites, the beach is closed after sunset from May to October.

Sandy beach features shells along its shoreline and is suitable for swimming, although caution should be exercised due to currents.

For a peaceful experience, be prepared to walk, and you'll be rewarded with your own private stretch of sand. At 12 kilometers long, Patara Beach is a lovely place to stroll, with sand dunes and mountains providing a scenic backdrop. Voted one of the top beaches in the world by Times Online in 2005, a visit to Patara Beach also allows you to explore nearby Roman and Lycian historical ruins.
